Hi, I'm Esther, a copywriter and editor living all across the globe.

Welcome to my brain.

That really is the best way to describe it; my goal in setting up this site is simply to have a place to share the thoughts that go meandering through my head.

Lately, I’ve been feeling an itch to write. While I do spend a large portion of my day tapping away at my laptop keyboard, it’s different when I’m writing for other people, to meet deadlines and earn bread money and generally be a functional member of society.

This is something else. This is an urge to create, to share, to write for my own self. And since the itch hasn’t dissipated over the past few months, here we are.

This site is a creative outlet for me. I hope it will encourage me to write and create more, solely for the purpose of writing and creating. Maybe you’ll see something here that will inspire you, or make you laugh. That would be great. But my first and primary goal is to create a platform where I can share my thoughts, foster creativity, and practice my skills, and I’m honored that you’re here joining my journey.

A bit about me: I’m a 20-something writer, freelancer, traveler, sister, aunt, friend, chocolate lover, and born-and-bred Brooklynite. I’ve been writing all my life, freelancing since 2017, an aunt since age 9, began travelling at 18, and a chocolate lover since forever. I love Brooklyn and New York City and I also love the vast wide world we live in. I travel for the culture, nature, people, adventure and to challenge my thinking. I have an endless curiosity (it’s both a good thing and a bad thing, like most strong attributes people have, but I’m primarily grateful for it). I’m on an ongoing mission to do the things that scare me. It’s a quest that will never end, and it’s continuously teaching me new things about myself.

I’m passionate about many, many things, including mental health awareness, travel, conscious living, connected community, Jewish Girls Travel (an awesome community I help run), high-quality dark chocolate, education, rollerblading, languages, the arts, family, Jewish culture and tradition, history, nature… the list goes on. I’m sure we’ll touch upon some of these topics more in-depth in the future.

With all that said, welcome! I’m honored to have you here. I’d love to get to know you, too. Feel free to message me with questions or comments or simply to say hello. It’s always nice to hear from you folks. (You can also message me with any writing job inquiries/opportunities. Those are nice to hear about, too.)

Happy Reading,

EG
